Please read the following about your selection before volunteering

BBQ and serve Montgomery Firemen

Location: Various times Time:Aldersgate UMC BBQ Pit, Fellowship Hall, and all Montgomery city fire stations BBQ chicken, make cole slaw, bake cookies, and deliver to the 16 fire departments in town Some work will be done prior to the 10th. Work will include cooking early (5 am), organizing the meals, and delivering the meals.

Children’s Choir - Sing and Visit at The Cedars and Cedar Crest

Location: Aldersgate UMC Time: 9am Aldersgate UMC Children's Choirs will meet at 9 in Room 25 and will perform at 10:30

Cleaning - Nellie Burge

Wash approximately 80 cots used in the community center daycare and clean and sanitize nine classrooms.

Volunteers will coordinate to provide equipment and supplies.

Cook soup for MACOA

Location: Aldersgate UMC, CAC Kitchen Time: 8 am

Hygiene Kits - Red Cross

Assembly of hygiene supplies for disasters and emergencies. Project Location - FUMC Fellowship Hall.

Assembly of hygiene kits for veterans being discharged from the hospital. Project Location - FUMC Fellowship Hall.

This time will consist of helping various mission projects on-going throughout the church

Celebration Event

A Celebration Event will follow the Great Day of Service from 4:00-6:00pm on the lawn of Cloverdale Junior High School on Fairview Avenue. Join the fun, fellowship, music, and food as we celebrate the blessings of the Great Day of Service. There will be a time of sharing for those who feel so led. Please click the checkbox below if you plan to attend. Bring a blanket and/or chairs to picnic on the lawn. To God be the glory!
